Influx – Daniel Suarez

influxAnother great book by Daniel Suarez. The plot was a bit more outlandish than Kill Decision, but still very enjoyable! Someone is harvesting all the good inventions to safeguard humanity, but not everyone thinks it is a great idea.

At All Costs – David Weber

AtAllCostsManticore is dealt a serious blow by the Havenite fleet, and Honor finds herself in command of Eighth Fleet, the primary offensive force of Manticore. Lots of great action. Honor and Hamish have a reason to see a lot more of each other.

And the massive Havenite fleet continues on its war path with a bold target.

War of Honor – David Weber

WarOfHonorI begun this book straight after Ashes of Victory back in 2012, but tired of it before I got very long. It must have been fatigue after too many books in the same series. Had I read another 50 pages, I probably wouldn’t have been able to put it down. Anyway another great book in the series.

Manticorian government bungles it and war with Haven breaks out again.

New Spring – Robert Jordan

New SpringA prequel to the Wheel of Time books. I left it to last, although it turned out I didn’t have to. It would have made perfect sense to read it first, even though it was written well into the Wheel of Time series.

The story is about Moiranie and Siuan becoming Aes Sedai and setting out on their lifelong quest. And about how Moiraine met with Lan Mandragoran.

A must read if you have already read the other Wheel of Time books, and a good place to start if you’re about to 🙂
