After Robert Jordan’s death his estate contacted Brandon Sanderson to get him to write the last book of the series. The last book turned into three, and I was of course a bit worried about the quality. But I must say, that I’m impressed by Sanderson’s work. I can’t feel the difference! The biggest difference I found was in the reading. As with the other books, this one is read expertly by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading, but know suddenly voices for characters and pronunciations of name are different. Even though in some cases it is a change for the better it was still a bit strange after so many books.
This book focuses on Rand’s struggle for his sanity and Egwene struggle to reunite the Aes Sedai.
