Worst season ever

The Barracudas have made it to the finals every season since 1996 and the Grand Final every season since 1999, which means that in all the years I’ve played for the club, we’ve been in the Grand Final. This year, however, was different. All through the season there has been a low turnout at training and problems finding players for weekend matches. So I guess it was coming, but it is still a disappointment to not make the finals. All in all it has been a disappointing footy year with the trip with the national team to Australia cancelled and not making the playoffs. We did, however, win the local league, and managed to recruit a couple of new players.
